DANCE WITH THE DEVIL

'Dance with the Devil' is so far one of the most unique Srvent projects to date. This original soundtrack includes two new rap songs, including his first collaboration with Elizabeth Chamberlain (Guilty Conscience).

The majority of the album is the original score from the yet-to-be-released short film. Presently the short film is being sent out to film festivals. Watch the trailer here.

7 SONGS FOR LIFE

Srvent’s most recent project dives into and expands on seven of his favourite rules from the international best selling books by Dr. Jordan B. Peterson. They are artistic renderings that gained the attention of Peterson himself, and the cover art was designed by acclaimed designer Juliette Fogra.

Accompanying the songs is an elaborate short film that cinematically follows the journey of a lone survivor in a post-apocalyptic wasteland.

BATTLE ANGEL

Staying true to Srvent’s roots as a storyteller, this EP pushed the limits for the Canadian artist in a massive way by putting himself in the center of the 2019 film, “Alita: Battle Angel”.

The 22-minute long music video also broke ground as a new genre. Srvent’s efforts in reimagining the film garnered him attention from the filmmakers themselves; specifically, the film composer (Tom Holkenborg), and lead actress (Rosa Salazar), who shared it on their social media. The vibrant #AlitaArmy also shared Srvent’s release to great acclaim.

AMMUNITION

The Ammunition EP was both a departure and a thematic continuation from his explorations in ‘Identity’. Following his characteristic ability to dive deep into meaningful subject matter, Srvent tackled the relationship between purpose and hope through his own personal experience in 7 brand new songs.

Ammunition is known as the EP that better defined and honed his unique sound in Hip-Hop. Each track was raw, personal, and flooded with meaning. Ammunition left a mark.

IDENTITY

For early fans, ‘Identity’ was their entry point. What stood out to reviewers in Srvent’s debut was his hyper-lyricism, emotional productions, melodic sensibilities, and expert song-structuring. Since his process is a combination of composing and writing, what emerged was a highly variable set of songs, each in their own soundscape. Though amateur in its mixing/engineering, an earnestness persists through the heart of it.

The sum whole of the project is a deep examination of the self that produced many beloved songs, including “Bananas” and “Turn the Lights Down”.
